The scholarship is specifically designed for students intending to pursue careers in Technology, Engineering, Business, or Scientific research. Each high school can nominate only one student for the scholarship. Interested students should email their guidance counselor by November 1st, 2022, with a summary of how they meet the criteria outlined below. The administrative team will then decide which student nomination will be supported. Students pursuing careers as Physicians, Medical Researchers, Professors, or Social Activists are not eligible for the Schulich Leader Scholarship.
The Queen's Chancellor's Scholarship is a prestigious scholarship program offered by Queen's University. It is awarded to students who have demonstrated superior academic ability, creative and original thinking, and proven leadership qualities. The scholarship is specifically for students who plan to attend Queen's University. To be considered for the Chancellor's Scholarship, applicants must receive a nomination from the high school they most recently attended full-time study. Nominations from institutions where the applicant is enrolled in part-time studies will not be accepted. The scholarship provides $12,000 per year and is renewable for three subsequent years, totaling four years, provided a GPA of 3.5 is achieved in a full course load each year.
